Janine M. Dutcher, Ph.D.

Welcome!
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). My research seeks to understand how positive interventions and experiences (e.g., self-affirmation, mindfulness meditation, social support) may lead to reductions in threat and stress responding. I use multiple methods (behavioral, neuroimaging, psychoneuroimmunological) to explore how these processes may have effects on physical health and well-being.
I received my B.S. in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2010 and my Ph.D. in Psychology from UCLA in 2016.
